"I am in the studio with Colin Blades till Friday.
Also, on Friday I will be finishing up a track for Miles Copeland's Middle Eastern rock project.
In between I am rehearsing with Will Evankovitch, the singer/guitar player that we are taking with us on the Shaw Blades tour. He has a band in the bay area called American Drag.
Tommy Shaw is coming up on the 5th of March for rehearsal then we go to LA to do Rockline on the 7th.
The track Your Move is #4 on the classic rock charts. VH1 classic will be airing Hanging with Shaw/Blades on Saturday."

"What a great month. In Feb. I played with Alice Cooper, Don Felder (Eagles), Cheech Marin, Stephen Stills, Cheap Trick, Roger Daltry, Mickey Hart (Grateful Dead), Gilby Clarke (Guns n Roses) among others.. Tommy Shaw and I did a few acoustic shows in anticipation of our "Influences" release this spring. They went great! Busy finishing up new NR cd for Japan."

"Tommy and I just got back from Miami doing an acoustic show for all the VH1-Vh1 classic people. They love our covers CD. We also played an acoustic set at the Namm show Jan 19th in the Taylor Guitar booth. Both shows were amazing. Tommy and I are doing the benefit, our own songs and also we are playing with Alice Cooper on three of his songs. Should be wild. Tommy and I have co-written songs with Alice in the past."

"Becky, (the singer in my group from Phoenix AZ.) Me, Roger Daltry and Tony Perkins (weather man on Good Morning America) rockin' out on "Summertime Blues"... Does it get any better than this?

We played "Behind Blue Eyes", "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "See Me ...Feel me...Listening to you"...with the core band (named "The Magnificent Bastards" Jack Blades, Elliot Easton from the Cars, Gary Burr; Vince Melemed, Michael Lardie, Simon Kirke, drummer for Bad Co, Bruce Kulick from Kiss, and Roger)...we sounded like The Who!!! It was truly mind-boggling...Before we brought Roger on we played Cars song "You're Just What I Needed", Bad Co's Can't get Enough Of Your Love" then "Best Friend's Girl" then the Who stuff...wow!!!"
